Sunny Bank Wishes is the brainchild and absolute labour of love, of it's owner Michelle (me).​​​​​

​Photographer, Illustrator, Designer, Artist, Crafter, Curator, Typist, Printer ... call me what you like.

 

I create paper products (bookmarks, greetings cards, letters, postcards etc), prints and stationery from my photographs, art and designs.  I also use antique and vintage printing blocks and metal type.  My printing methods range from using antique and vintage printing letterpresses, lino printing using an antique press, hand printing, electric printing, commercial printing and typing on antique and vintage typewriters.  I also curate interesting collections of modern, vintage and antique UK (mostly) Postcards and Ephemera.​

 

 From a young age I was obsessed with paper and stationery.  I played Post Offices on my Petite toy post office and collected beautiful postcards and stationery.  So you could say it is a dream come true, to be posting my products all over the UK.   I love Post Office and Royal Mail vintage items, and a red post box will always make me happy.  I like anything related to paper making, paper craft and printing, love the feel and smell of a brand new note book or journal ... and have a penchant for polka dots!​​

Postcards and letters connect people.  I love making people smile by receiving an unexpected postcard or letter.

​

Taking wildlife and nature photographs is such a joy for me, being in nature is incredibly therapeutic.  I adore local wildlife, in particular Red Squirrels.
